Confirmation

We offer two styles of Confirmation Classes to best suit your family.

Our primary style for your family is called FamilyBasedConfirmation. This style is based on Deuteronomy 6:4-9 (called the Shema), where families talk to their children throughout the day and tell them about God in all of life’s most simple and complicated moments. Our FamilyBasedConfirmation Curriculum gives you the tools to intentionally share the faith with your child while at the same time learning more about your own faith in God.

Our secondary approach might be a more common style that you’ve been taught with in the past. This style is done by the Pastor/Youth Director in the setting of the church once a week for an hour at a time. We will be using the same curriculum as the FamilyBasedConfirmation for the in-class setting. Feel free to contact Pastor Daniel Longden with any questions you may have.
